Flowerpatch Quilters Exhibition 2025

 Flowerpatch Quilters 2025 exhibition is less than 3 weeks away and begins on Tuesday 5th August, running until Saturday 9th when we end with our charity quilt raffle. This year we're raising funds for HF Trusts "Chy Keres" in Tregadillet who support adults with learning difficulties and their families.

Our exhibition venue is the barn at Cowslip Workshops near to Launceston in Cornwall (PL15 8JX) and we're open from 10am to 4pm each day.

This is our charity quilt - "Pretty in Pastel"

Each block is stitched by a different member of the group, who also added some of their own fabrics to the mix. These are 4 of the the applique blocks

 and the centre applique block.

There are 4 simple blocks of squares near the centre of which these are two

and the other pieced blocks have 2 brighter squares and a bright circle placed randomly.

The border has large triangles, each with a bright circle.

The blocks are hand quilted with perle by the members and then sewn together with a narrow 1/2" sashing - I love these white dots on soft green!

We have a sales table at the exhibition with money raised going to Chy Keres and we're looking ahead to December 25th with part of our display!! Tea, coffee and cake will be available in the barn, and entrance to the exhibition is £2. Please bring some pennies as it got very complicated to sort out card payments!!
